First Annual Youth Shooting Sports Expo in Missoula

On May 21 from 10:00am-2:00pm, the Western Montana Fish and Game Association will be hosting the 1st Annual Youth Shooting Sports Expo in Missoula at the Deer Creek Shooting Center. Groups from around the area will be on hand to educate the public about youth shooting and hunting opportunities. Kids age 10-18 will be able to learn about and participate in shooting activities. 2017 Canyon Ferry Carp Safari-June 10th

The Montana Bowhunters Association will host our Annual Canyon Ferry Carp Safari on June 10, 2017 on Canyon Ferry Lake, east of Helena. Weigh-in and the awards ceremony will be staged at the Hellgate Campground Group Use Area. MBA Archery Equipment Policy Proposal Gains Public Comment Period

Throughout the spring, summer, and early fall, the MBA worked on an Archery Equipment Policy proposal designed to strengthen the review process within the current Tentatives cycle. The MBA developed the policy and an evaluation matrix to better focus equipment discussions and aid the Department and Commission in their deliberations on archery equipment proposals.
